Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater |
Day 1: Arusha
-Tarangire
After lunch drive to Tarangire
National park. Established in 1970
and covers 2600 Square Kilometres,
Tarangire Park is one of the most
distinguishing sites. In the park
are baobab trees which dot the
plains. Game en route to Haranguer
lodge/Luxury camp. Dinner and
overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Tarangire-Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy an early morning game drive
before breakfast. After breakfast,
drive across the wheat plains of
Karatu to Gibb's Farm where a
delightful farmhouse lunch awaits.
Continue to Ngorongoro arriving in
the early evening. Dinner and
overnight in a Ngorongoro Lodge.
Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater Declared a
world heritage site in 1978,
Ngorongoro is believed to date back
to over 2 million years ago and was
once a Volcano as large as Mt.
Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a full day of
game viewing in the magnificent
crater. Picnic lunch at the Crater.
Dinner and overnight in a Ngorongoro
Lodge.
Day 4: Ngorongoro-Arusha-Mombasa
Early morning breakfast and then
drive on to Arusha. Lunch at the
Impala hotel. Drive/fly back to your
Coastal hotel arriving later in the
late afternoon.
