Voi Wildlife Lodge
|
This
lodge is located in the Savannah
grasslands
of Tsavo East, with
spectacular views of nearby
volcanic outcrops, like the Kasigau and Mwakingali Hills. It
has 72 rooms (24- luxury, 32 -
superior, 16 - standard) all
with en-suite bathrooms and are
furnished in African decor. Some
rooms are specifically designed
for disabled guests.
The lodge also has tents each
accommodating two beds, with
en-suite bathrooms. Each tent
gives you the feeling of camping
in the wild. Facilities include
bars, restaurants, boutique,
conference facilities, swimming
pool with Jacuzzi, spa and
health club, badminton courts,
table tennis and pool tables.

Voi Safari Lodge

overlooks Tsavo East plains
extending as far as the terrain
of the Yatta Plateau. Wildlife
is attracted by the water holes
sunk by the lodge below the
cliff.

Lion Hill Lodge |
Situated on ‘Mlima ya Simba’
(Swahili for lion hill), and
adjoining the world famous Tsavo
East National Park at Voi Gate,
is the ideally set wild world of
the magnificent Zomeni Lion Hill
Lodge. This lodge enjoys spell
binding views over the scenery
and wildlife of the legendary
Tsavo. Lion Hill Lodge bo asts
traditional architecture with
makuti-thatched roofs and
natural logs and comprises 8
luxury rooms, 4 luxury tents, a
bar and dining room serving

The rooms have double or twin
beds. Some rooms have one double
and one single bed all with
mosquito nets. All bathrooms
have hot and cold water with

with hot and cold water. The
balcony of the tents overlooks
the National Park with wildlife
coming very close behind the
lodge's electric fence.

Patterson Safari camp |
Far away from the hustle and
bustle of city life, Patterson's
Safari Camp is nestled on the
banks of the Voi River in Tsavo
East, the camp is the perfect
place to get away from it all
and explore one of the world's
largest game sanctuary.
The
camp comprises 20 spacious
tents, some of which accommodate
up to 4 people, all tents have
verandas overlooking the Athi
River and are en suite with hot
running water and the décor is
traditional Swahili
architecture.
Meals are served in the dining
hall where you can choose from a
variety of freshly-cooked, mouth
watering cuisine and delicious
vegetarian options. Here you
also have a chance to enjoy a
sundowner along the banks of the
river and soak up the tranquil
atmosphere while you are at it,
the sounds of Africa will take
over as you listen to the
therapeutic waters gurgling past
and the punctuating rhythms of
insects and tree frogs.
The diverse vegetation and
extensive river system attract a
multitude of wildlife which
include antelopes, dik diks,
elephants, warthogs, cheetahs,
leopards and more. |

Satao Rock Camp |
is
located only 1.5 hrs drive from
Mombasa on the border of Tsavo
East
National Park. the camp has
8 comfortable en-suite twin
tents perched 80 feet upon a
huge rock overlooking a water
hole where elephants, impalas,
warthogs, buffalos, lesser
kudus, baboons and vervet
monkeys come to drink, and
occasionally lion and leopard.
All tents have en-suite
facilities and flushing toilets.
This camp is sister to Satao
Camp in Tsavo East and Satao
Elerai in Amboseli.

Satao Camp |
Satao
Camp has 20 tents, all en-suite,
nestled amongst trees and
surrounding a
central
water-hole, the semi-circular
layout of the camp provides an
excellent viewing point for each
of our guests as the animals
come to drink from the
waterhole. The tents are
furnished with locally made beds
in unique African designs with
private bathrooms with running
water. The shower however is in
the true African style, whereby
the camp staff bring hot water
in the evening.

Galdessa
Camp |
Galdessa,
(baboon in
Wariangulu, the tribe
that used to
lived in the area) is a
small eco-camp located in Tsavo
East National Park, 15
kilometers upstream of
Lugards
Falls.
Galdessa Camp's remote
access in a very wild part of
the park ensures that tourism is
kept to a minimum, enhancing the
intimacy the camp, and guests,
enjoy with Nature. The
accommodation and activities are
geared at the traveler looking
for a private experience in the
African bush.
The camp has 8 spacious "bandas"
(grass-thatched-bungalow-like
structures) set well
apart, all
facing the river and the
Yatta
Plateau, the world's largest
fossilized lava flow (over 200
kilometers long).
Two
bandas
are organized in suites. The
most remote
banda is ideal for
honeymooners in search of
privacy, with its own sitting
room, viewing platform and water
wallow a spacious en-suite
bathroom/dressing room.
Perfectly adapted to the
environment,
Galdessa
is a refined expression of the
safaris of yesteryear. The walls
are made of canvas and mosquito
netting tastefully set in timber
frames forming a romantic
interior which enhances the
contact with the rhythms and
sounds of the natural world
outside.

Ndololo Safari Camp |
is a luxurious tented camp lying
on the broad, thickly forested
banks of Voi River in Tsavo East
National Park offerings 20
luxurious, well-spaced tents
each self-contained
with
a verandah and bedroom. Some of
the tents have single, double
and triple beds to cater for
different tastes. All are
furnished in classic blend of

hand carved olive wood furniture

indigenous Liangulu people gave
the dik dik, miniature antelope
that are often seen near Sentrim

Red Elephant Safari Lodge |
Red Elephant Safari Lodge is
situated 700 m. from Voi-Gate and
only 5 km from Voi town. The lodge
offers 12 double-rooms, 2
triple-rooms and 1 Mini Suite are
located in the two wings of the
building. The walls are built by
stone and the roof from Makuti, the
floors are made from Galana-stones.
All rooms have a wooden ceiling.
Each room is self-contained with
bathroom with shower, flush WC and
wash hand basin. Hot and cold water
is available.
Beds, chairs and tables in the rooms
are build from natural stones to
give the room a unique safari look.
Every bed is covered by a mosquito
net. Also
This lodge has a restaurant and bar,
the dining room has a setting
capacity of 60, breakfast and
lunches are served as buffet or by
plate service and exclusive dinner
