Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu
Pick up from your Nairobi City hotel and drive you through the great Rift Valley with a brief stop over to admire the view as you head for Samburu game reserve the semi-arid region of the nomadic Samburu people. Arrive and click into Samburu safari lodges Samburu Serena safari lodge for lunch and short relaxation. Afternoon game drive after lunch allows viewing of the rare local species of zebra and giraffe. Dinner and overnight at Samburu serena lodge or Samburu safari lodge.
Day 2
Full day at Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Rest of the day at leisure. Samburu game Reserve, which covers about 104 square kilometers. Ololokwe Table Mountain form a dramatic backdrop to our game viewing. Samburu is also home to three third of Kenya’s giraffe species. The rare reticulate Giraffe (only found in Northern Parks) This is also where you see blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned or equivalent.
Day 3:Samburu – Nairobi
After a relaxed buffet breakfast, you will leave Samburu for a scenic drive to Nairobi, complementary Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. Afternoon transfer to the airport for flight home.
