 Verified Magical Tsavo We had the most amazing time on our family safari organised by Steve. The organisation was easy and efficient before the trip, Steve was always very responsive. Flexibility was given to our different start and drop off points (we did Malindi - Tsavo East - Tsavo West - Watamu) as well as working around the lodges we wanted to stay at. We travelled with our two kids who are 8 and 10 years old and they could not have loved it more! Our driver Solomon was absolutely incredible, he was patient and entertained all the kids’ questions about the wildlife and really tried to ensure they saw what they were most excited about from close up, from your lion pride to the cutest baby hippo in Mzima springs. He was always attentive to our rhythm while ensuring we stayed relatively on track time-wise. He has an eagle eye (or should I say giraffe eye!) for spotting hidden animals and by the end the kids were keen spotters too! Attention was given to every detail, e.g. the car was cleaned every night fresh for the next morning’s game drive including the windows and the floor, which did not go unnoticed! (Those small things make all the difference) The views, landscapes, wildlife and organisation all combined to make this an unforgettable experience for our family.  Verified Savršen safari Imali smo stvarno predivan safari sa Steve & Richard Safari. Sve sam se dogovarala sa Steveom, koji je vlasnik agencije, i od početka je bio jako korektan, brz i ljubazan. Sve što smo dogovorili bilo je ispoštovano i organizacija je bila odlična. Naš sjajni vodič je bio Solomon, znao je gde da idemo, strpljivo nas je vodio i stvarno se trudio da vidimo što više životinja. Bili smo sami nas dvoje, što je bilo super jer smo mogli da imamo potpuno privatno iskustvo i da se prilagodimo kako nama odgovara. Za ova četiri dana videli smo zaista neverovatno mnogo životinja – lavove, leoparda, čak i servala sa mladuncima, hijene, velika krda slonova, zebre, antilope i žirafe, kao i nilske konje, krokodile i još mnogo drugih životinja. Svaki dan je doneo nešto novo i posebno. Za nas je ovo bio savršen safari i iskustvo koje ćemo sigurno dugo pamtiti. Tokom safarija smo odseli u Satao Campu, Kilaguni Serena Lodge-u i Ol Tukai Lodge-u. Sva tri mesta su bila odlična, ali posebno želim da pohvalim Satao Camp – ambijent, priroda i ceo doživljaj su bili zaista posebni i meni je to bio jedan od najlepših delova celog safarija. Obišli smo Tsavo East, Tsavo West i Amboseli i zaista smo uživali u svakom delu putovanja. Sve u svemu, baš smo zadovoljni što smo izabrali Steve & Richard Safari.  Verified Fenomenalno iskustvo Odličan safari i jedno od najboljih iskustava koje sam imao u Keniji. Sve je bilo odlično organizovano od strane Steve & Richard Safari. Steve je od početka bio korektan i profesionalan, a sve što smo dogovorili bilo je ispoštovano. Naš vodič Solomon je takođe bio odličan. Veoma dobro poznaje parkove i životinje i potrudio se da nam svaki dan bude zanimljiv. Za četiri dana smo videli lavove, leoparda, servala sa mladuncima, hijene, ogromna krda slonova, zebre, žirafe, antilope, nilske konje, krokodile i još mnogo toga. Stvarno smo imali sreće, ali mislim da je i dobro vođenje mnogo doprinelo tome. Bili smo u Satao Campu, Kilaguni Serena Lodge-u i Ol Tukai Lodge-u. Sva tri smeštaja su bila odlična, a Satao Camp bih posebno izdvojio – veoma lep ambijent i pravi safari doživljaj. Posetili smo Tsavo East, Tsavo West i Amboseli i svaki park je bio drugačiji i poseban. Sve u svemu, savršen safari od početka do kraja. Velika preporuka za Steve & Richard Safari! 🐘🦁

 Verified Must do experience This was by far one of the coolest things I have ever done! My partner and I did the 2-day Tsavo East safari and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience really. We were picked up and dropped off at of two different hotels which was very helpful and saved us a lot of time and hassle. We paid around $350 usd and thought that it was definitely worth it. The first day included 2 excursions- we saw elephants giraffes, gazelle, and even lions! We were actually the only group that day to see lions because Steve and our drive took us a little secret way to make sure we got a good view. There were so many animals we had never seen before and Steve was very knowledgeable about them and always answered any questions we had. The lodge was very nice and had the most insane view of the safari (stars at night and sunrise were sooo beautiful). The second day started early and also included great temperatures and more animal viewings! Overall could not recommend enough. Everyone was very kind, accommodating and professional.  Verified 2 day safari east We waren in Mombasa voor een business trip (ikzelf en nog drie collega's). We bekeken de mogelijkheid om een 2-day safari te doen in het weekend, op heel korte termijn dus :). We kwamen op de website van steve&richard uit en namen contact op via Whatsapp. Snel kregen we antwoord en bekeken we de mogelijkheden en begonnen we af te spreken. Prijzen leken overal ongeveer overeen te komen, maar de planning bij Steve&Richard werd wel het meest concreet. Enkel de normaal geplande accomodatie voor de overnachting zaterdag op zondag bleek niet meer beschikbaar, maar Stave kon een alternatief voorstellen. We kwamen een prijs overeen en de pick up zou op zaterdag 7u aan ons hotel plaatsvinden. Er werd een voorschot gevraagd, daarvoor zou Steve langs ons hotel langskomen. Wij vroegen om via kaart te kunnen betalen, ondanks Steve wel aangaf dat hij liever cash had, zou het toch geen probleem zijn. Uiteindelijk is Steve niet aan ons hotel geraakt voor het voorschot (te veel file), maar verzekerde dat de pick-up om 7u vast stond en de accomodaties geregeld waren. Zo geschiedde, zaterdag iets voor 7u stond de safari-van met Steve, Ali (de driver) en assistent aan ons hotel. Steve had zijn machientje niet mee, dus voor het voorschot moest er gestopt worden aan de ATM. Hou er rekening mee dat je aan een ATM max 40.000KES kan afhalen! Zo werd het toch al snel 9u vooraleer we Mombasa achter ons lieten. Maar niet getreurd, het weer was toch niet denderend. Onderweg werd er nog gestopt om de watervoorraad aan te vullen, en tegen 10u kwamen we aan de gate van Tsavo East national park na een verplichte stop aan een typische souvenirshop. Het dak van de safari-van werd opengedaan, en de safari kon beginnen! Ali bleek al snel een uitstekende chauffeur en gids, op een grappige manier, met legendarische quotes, was hij perfect op de hoogte van de fauna in het park. De safari's volgen daar een vast stramien, zo leek het. 's morgens binnenrijden, lunchen in de safari lodge, om dan in de namiddag opnieuw naar het park te gaan tot het park sluit, rond 18u. Na een korte nachtrust opnieuw 's morgens naar het park, om dan ook op tijd het park te verlaten (tickets in de nationale parken zijn 24u geldig). Hierdoor heb je't nadeel dat je 's anderendaags voor een groot stuk dezelfde weg terug aflegt. Moraal van het verhaal: langer op safari gaan :-) Kort na de middag waren we op zondag terug aan ons hotel. En konden we weer twee keer de ATM passeren om de rest van het bedrag te overhandigen (en een fooi aan Ali). Dus overall zeker een aanrader, alleen het feit dat we toch enkel cash konden betalen, met de kosten die daarmee gepaard gaan, maakte het allemaal wat ongemakkelijker. Voor gezinnen met kinderen zou ik op z'n minst de LandCruiser aanraden, want je racet wel over de zandwegen in het park op zoek naar wild.

 Verified Bardzo udane Safari Świetnie spędziliśmy czas na Safari. Odwiedziłyśmy parki tsavo east i west. Naszym kierowcą był Salomon - świetny przewodnik, zna się na rzeczy, może dużo powiedzieć o zwierzętach i miejscach, czułyśmy się bardzo zaopiekowane. Jednocześnie podróż minęła w bardzo miłej atmosferze, dużo rozmawialiśmy i wymienialiśmy się doświadczeniami. Wszystko odbyło się bez przeszkód i zgodnie z planem. Steve również jest bardzo miłą i otwartą osobą, na pewno znajdzie dla Was idealną ofertę. Na samym Safari udało nam się zobaczyć wiele zwierząt z bliska. Byłyśmy tylko we dwójkę, więc nie było problemu z widocznością. Nocowaliśmy w Lions Hills - pokoje przystępne, podobne standardy do hotelowych, ale jedzenie było przepyszne, serdecznie polecamy ten lodge. W trakcie Safari dostępna jest woda z lodówki - duże udogodnienie.

 Verified Safari Tsavo - cosgliato Abbiamo fatto un safari di una giornata allo Tsavo Est con Steve e ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Siamo partiti dal nostro resort a Diani e Steve è venuto a prenderci direttamente in reception, rispettando perfettamente l’orario concordato. Durante la giornata abbiamo avuto la possibilità di vedere moltissimi animali, tra cui giraffe, elefanti, zebre, gazzelle, leopardi, ippopotami e bufali. Steve e il suo collega sono stati sempre molto disponibili e attenti a fermarsi nei punti migliori, sia per permetterci di osservare gli animali con calma sia per scattare delle belle foto. Ci hanno inoltre raccontato molte curiosità sugli animali che incontravamo e anche sulle diverse specie di alberi e piante presenti nel parco, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più interessante. È stata una bellissima esperienza e consigliamo sicuramente Steve per un safari allo Tsavo Est!

 Verified Wonderful Safari Since our booking of the Safari the communication from Steve was clear and to the point. Solomon, our driver for the five days was such a lovely guy. He sensed our wishes very well to explore the parks. E.g. We stayed for a long time watching a leopard from a close distance and then he arranged we could still enter the Rhino sanctuary. Although we had some care issues, everything was solved as quickly as it could. We would love to come back, book a safari at steveandrichardssafari.com and we would ask for Solomon to drive us.
