Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up in Nairobi. Drive southeast through the scenic landscapes of Kajiado County, passing Maasai homesteads along the way.

Arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for check-in and lunch at your lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive across Amboseli’s vast plains. The park is home to large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and numerous bird species.

The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, offers a stunning backdrop for wildlife photography.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s diverse landscapes and wildlife-rich swamps. Start with a sunrise game drive, when animals are most active and the view of Kilimanjaro is at its clearest.

After breakfast, visit key attractions such as the Observation Hill, offering panoramic views of the park’s ecosystem. The swamps below are fed by underground rivers from Mount Kilimanjaro and attract hippos, elephants, and a wide variety of birdlife.

You may also opt for a cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village to learn about traditional customs and community conservation efforts.

Arrival in Nairobi is expected in the early afternoon. You can choose to be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for onward travel.
